About the blog
Hi, thanks for visiting Tech-Me. I’m Chris Chapman, a 19 year old Film and Media Production student studying in my home city of Sheffield. I’m a self proclaimed geek, and have a passion for gadgets, technology and online media. Other interests include movies, roller coasters, rides and theme parks.
I started blogging back in September 2006, and initially had no idea what to write about. I decided that I didn’t want to blog about my life, I didn’t see why anyone would want to read about what I’d done that day. So instead I decided to write about my thoughts on technology. Since those early days, my opinion’s somewhat changed dramatically. Whilst the blog remains about technology, I became more involved in the surrounding online community and tend to go by the name of ‘chapmanmania’.
I’m not a fan of the big social networks like Facebook or Myspace (despite having profiles on both), I signed up to Twitter for posting short, annecdotal, micro-blog entries about what I’m up to, or find interesting. Last.fm equally has developed my interest in music, in the same way YouTube and Flickr have for video and photos. Feel free to friend me up on any of my profiles. 
Other than that, I’m also writer/editor for Island Quest, the only online fansite for Fantasy Island, an amusement park located in the coastal village of Ingoldmells (near Skegness) and a moderator for Stuff.tv; the online community for the leading wordwide technology magazine.
The blog is an entirely personal project, therefore all views expressed are my own.
